You will be staying at holiday park ’RCN Het Grote Bos’ in a luxurious 6-person cottage. Every cottage has 3 bedrooms with 2 separate beds, sheets and towels are included. There are 2 bathrooms with separate toilets. In the registration form you can let us know if you have a preferred room and/or housemate, if this is left empty we will find someone of the same gender to share the room with you. The bungalows are a 1-minute walk from the training course!
Breakfast and snacks will be provided in bungalows when you arrive. The breakfast includes everything a sports(wo)man needs, including fresh fruits, yoghurts, oats, eggs, bread and several drinks.
Lunch and dinner
Lunch will be served at the nearby RCN restaurant. Lunch will consist of different types of sandwiches, soups and more.
On Saturday evening a 3-course dinner with drinks will be waiting for you after your final training on the course. There is no official dinner on Friday and Sunday, however, you are free to join us at the restaurant or you can cook your own meal in your bungalow. In the kitchen of your bungalow you’ll find everything you need for a proper meal; a coffee maker, cattle, gas stove, fridge and microwave.
After a long day on the course it is nice to relax and recover. Every bungalow comes equipped with a sauna. On the park is also an outdoor swimming pool which will be open if the weather allows for it. Make sure to bring your swimsuit!
Around the park
The park is located in the beautiful national park ‘de Utrechtse Heuvelrug’ which makes the location perfectly suited for a training camp. 5-min drive from the camp there are 2 villages (Doorn and Driebergen) where you can find different shops. A bit further away (30min by car) is the city of Utrecht, a typical Dutch city with café’s, shops and restaurants along the canals. The perfect place if you want to do some sightseeing before or after the camp.
Allergies / dietary needs
If you happen to have any allergies or have special dietary needs let us know on the registration form.
